Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 425 - A Way To Save Her Life

Damien wondered how Yuria would account for this situation when he himself was feeling helpless about helping this girl since anything that had to do with one\'s ethereal core or cores here was a very fragile matter which could easily end up in the person\'s death if something slightly goes wrong.

"Since Yuria has the Chaos Ethereal Core, she has the ability to stabilize that girl\'s twin ethereal cores by merging them though she would forever be stuck at the Heaven Ethereal Realm afterward, never to progress her cultivation for the rest of her life," Luna explained.

Damien was surprised that Yuria could do something like that, but at the same time, he felt it was a pity that Ai would be unable to progress her cultivation due to her unfortunate luck of being born in the lower plane.

Still, seeing Shin and Ai\'s love and care for each other, he felt that maybe she wouldn\'t be sad to hear about this since the bare truth was that Shin would never be able to obtain high cultivation due to being born a peasant.

So, he would surely die earlier than Ai, who has a potential life span of 500 years. So if Ai doesn\'t want to live longer than her lover, she surely wouldn\'t want to have her lifespan extended as well.

Tristen was discussing some things with Ai and the little king since Damien was busy discussing with Luna.

But now that he had found a way, he thought that it was time he told them and said, "What if there was a way for Ai to live longer...up to 500 years according to her cultivation?"

These words made everyone silent suddenly, especially the little king who eagerly looked at Godnim while Ai\'s previously dull eyes regained some light though she still didn\'t hold much hope since countless physicians had tried to treat her without any results.

"Really? Can my sister be saved? No matter what I have to do, I am willing to take the risk." The little king eagerly said as he held Godnim\'s hand in his excitement.

Tristen let out a sigh and said, "Yes. There is indeed a way though I can\'t guarantee anything, and also no one else should ever know about this as well, especially since this involves my fiance."

"Prince Tristen\'s fiance? Could it possibly be the prettiest moon in the Gale Empire? I have heard of the news, and I am happy that Prince Tristen was able to win over such a pretty sister. But can I know how she can help my sister?" The little king asked in a confused tone.

"I swear on my kingdom that I would never tell this to anybody else even if my life is at stake," The little king added in a solemn tone.

Tristen said with a slight smile, "Let\'s just say that she is special in a way, and only she might possess the method to save your sister though as I said, I can\'t guarantee a certainty."

The little king\'s expression only became even more spirited as he said, "That\'s no problem at all. As long as there\'s even a slight chance, we are willing to take that. Isn\'t that right, sister?"

Ai nodded with a soft smile seeing her brother being so happy, and decided to at least try for him even if she had given up.

"That\'s good to hear. I will pray to the gods to let this be a success," Shin said in a hopeful tone, making Ai look at him with an endearing gaze.

"Hmph, you should be lucky that a goddess like me is already here though I doubt a simple prayer is enough," Luna mumbled with pursed lips seeing Shin desperately praying.

"Would you cut that poor boy a break, pfft…" Damien inwardly shook his head with a smile, hearing Luna being herself as usual.

"Since it\'s come to this, I have to also tell you about her abnormal cultivation due to her constitution. She is—"

"At the Peak of the Heaven Ethereal Realm, right?" Damien said in a light tone.

The little king raised his brows, "Ah...I didn\'t expect Brother Godnim to see through her cultivation just like that. As expected of Prince Tristen\'s friend."

"It\'s nothing," Damien shrugged it off with a smile only to hear a scoff from Luna inside his mind.

Damien thought that he should buy a paper fan to look more scholarly and elegant.

"But I suppose this is what attracted Lord Shade\'s attention?" Damien asked with a raised brow.

The little king nodded with a sad look, "Should be. Otherwise, why would he be so interested? He must have used some way to know about her strange constitution though I don\'t know how since this was supposed to be a secret, including her cultivation. Somebody must have leaked this to them."

"You are probably right. But still, for the time being, we have to first get your sister out of here before Lord Shade comes up with some other way or becomes desperate, especially since he thinks she is going to die soon," Damien said in a serious tone.

"And how do we do that?" The little king asked in a worried tone.

"We will have to force our way out...especially by taking out the ones controlling the barrier. That should be our first step since peace isn\'t an option with Lord Shade handling things here," Damien said with knitted brows.

The little king looked at his fragile-looking sister and said worriedly, "But won\'t it be hard on my sister to move around like that?"

"It\'s fine, brother. I can do it. I am not as weak as I look. It\'s better than waiting here for my death," Ai said with a confident smile.

"I will carry her. Please leave it to me!" Shin said in an energetic tone as he bowed.

"Then that settles it," Damien said with a smile and continued, "But before we proceed with this desperate plan, let me talk to someone and see if there is an easy way about this," Damien said as he moved towards a corner and took out the Triton\'s messaging talisman, hoping that he would respond.
